FAQs

Can I Have A Free Trial?

Yes, you can! Saturday mornings are the best time for this. If you are aged 5-10, then the 9 am is the session for you. Aged 10-16, then the 10 am session would be best. Please contact us first to check the sessions are on as normal on the week you’d like to come.

Are Your Coaches Licensed?

Yes, they are. All our coaches hold a level or higher England Squash Qualification, they are all DBS (formerly CRB) checked and have all completed a safeguarding course.

Do I Have To Be A Member?

You don ‘t need to be a member to join in the Saturday sessions, though they are more expensive if you are not a member.

What Benefits Does A Membership Give Me?

It gives you discounts on most of the sessions and allows you to book courts in your own time and play against your friends. It also allows you to join in all club activities, which includes matches, the ladder, club championships and much, much more. It is strongly recommended that if you attend the sessions, then you become a member. Membership prices are very reasonable, starting at just £3.85 per month. Find out more here.

Can Parents Watch?

Yes, of course. We know you’ll enjoy watching your child’s development (we know we do). Parents can even join in the fun! find out more below.

Can I Start Mid-Term?

Yes, please just email us to let us know you are planning to come down.

What Age Can I Start?

Our Squash Tots start at just 2 years  6 months or whenever they are comfortable on a court to follow instructions. This runs on a Sunday morning, 9-10 am. Sometimes parents come onto the court with them to help things run smoothly. The Mini-Squash starts with players aged 6 and above.

I Can’t Make It At The Weekend,  Can I Still Get Involved?

We have smaller groups running midweek for those who can’t make Saturdays and those who are keen and want to get a second session in. Please contact us to find out which session would be most suitable for you.

This All Sounds Great! Can Parents Play as well?

Yes, you can – many parents end up getting involved and playing themselves. You can have a free trial, then you can join! We run 'Learn to Play Squash' and 'Learn to play Racketball' courses and there is also a large amount of structured squash for adults. We have about 20 squash leagues and about 10 racketball leagues, so we have an opponent for everyone!
